I really hope this will be the last post about clementines, because I'm learning lots about politics and history here, but I can't resist. In part, it's also an excuse to not write much. In any case, clementines today were a kilo for 100 pesos, $0.20US.

Don't you know what this means!?! It's the crash of the Clementine market! Great for Clementine consumers (aka gringo international students) but a terrible hardship for growers and shop keepers. Let alone the government if Clementines are taxed at any level. This could lead to a crash of the entire Chilean economy if not the Chilean government, leading to an economic depression which could affect the world economy leading a devastating recession, and on and on and on all to make you estatic with the price of a kilo of Clementines.
Different subject, but did you know that "Yanni" is in the middle of your blog name?

Ah, local money. Don't convert into US dollars all the time, it's an easy way to spend all of your money...not that I would know. :-)
